ED THOMAS
Ed Thomas is a Partner of KarpReilly and the former President and Chief Executive Officer, as well as Director of The Wet Seal, Inc, serving in that position from October 2007 until February 2011. Prior to Wet Seal, Ed served as President and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Tilly’s, Inc., a privately held men and women’s apparel retailer. Ed also served as Managing Partner of The Evans Thomas Company, LLC, a privately held consumer goods advisory firm, and AXIS Capital Fund I, LP, an investment fund. Prior to that, Ed served as President, Chief Operating Officer and Director of The Wet Seal, Inc., from 1992 to 2000. Prior to 2000, Ed was the President of Foxmoor Specialty Stores Corporation and Domain Home Furnishings. Ed is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Comark and a former director of D.E.I. Holdings and Trans World Entertainment Corporation.
Ed holds a B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University. Ed is a Certified Public Accountant.
