CHRISTOPHER K. REILLY
Co-Founder
Chris is Co-founder of KarpReilly, LLC. Prior to KarpReilly, Chris was a Partner at Apax Partners, L.P., a global private equity firm. While at Apax, he led the U.S. Retail and Consumer Group and was a member of the U.S. Operating and Investment Committees. Prior to Apax, Chris was a Partner at Saunders Karp & Megrue ("SKM"), a middle market private equity firm with $1.5 billion in capital under management. Chris joined SKM at its inception in 1990, and concentrated on the consumer, restaurant, retail and building products sectors. While at SKM, Chris was a member of the Firm's Investment Committee and its three-person Management Committee. He began his career with Bankers Trust and later joined Morgan Stanley's Merchant Banking Department. Chris holds a B.S. from Providence College and an M.B.A. from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
Chris is a current member of the board of directors of Adrianna Papell, Bob's Discount Furniture, Comark, Inc., Elephant Bar, Habit Burger Grill, Norcraft Companies, L.P. and Z'Tejas. Past directorships include Encompass Home Health, Mimi's Café, Marie Callender's, Targus Group International and Performance Inc. He is currently a member of the board of trustees of Providence College and is also a member of the board of Academics in Motion (A.I.M.), a New York City based not-for-profit organization that uses athletics as a conduit to greater personal and academic performance for children in lower socio-economic neighborhoods.
